Research and Development Plan
Our Research and Development Plan 2007-2012 sets the corporation’s strategic direction for five years and helps guide investment decisions. This plan was developed in close consultation with industry and government. SRDC invests in four types of projects to ensure that R&D delivers real results to industry:

- Grower Group Innovation Projects (GGIP)
- Capacity Building Projects (CBP)
- Scholarships

15 Apr 2010 - Round 1 Capacity Building Project applications close
07 May 2010 - SRDC announces successful Round 1 Capacity Building Projects
21 Jun 2010 - SRDC opens call for Research, GGIP, Round 2 CBP and Scholarships
13 Aug 2010 - Research project expressions of interest applications close
03 Sep 2010 - GGIP, Round 2 CBP and Scholarship applications close
11-12 Oct 2010 - Shortlisted Research project applicants present to review panel
01 Dec 2010 - Successful Research, GGIP, CBP and Scholarship projects notified by 1 Dec
01 Jan 2011 - Approved GGIP, CBP and Scholarship projects commence
01 Jul 2011 - Approved research projects commence
