Research projects
SRDC’s core investments comprise around 90 per cent of funding for research and development projects designed to further of the Australian sugarcane industry. If you are applying for SRDC research project funding, it is advised that you read the SRDC R&D Plan 2007-2012 to ensure your project links to industry and government priorities.

SRDC application process 
Expressions of Interest applications for research projects commencing from 1 July 2011 will open on 21 June 2010 and close on 13 August 2010.

For information on how to submit an Expression of Interest download the application kit, complete the application form and email your complete application to SRDC at apply@srdc.gov.au by Friday 13 August 2010.

21 Jun 2010 - SRDC opens Call for research project applications
13 Aug 2010 - Expression of interest applications close
11-12 Oct 2010 - Shortlisted applicants present project proposal to selection panel
01 Dec 2010 - Successful and unsuccessful research projects notified by 1 Dec 2010.
01 Jul 2011 - Approved research projects commence
